The Department of Materials is delighted to invite you to the 14th Annual Materials Grand Reunion Alumni Dinner.

We continue to build on our achievements with the dedication of our staff, the brilliance of our students, and the support of our alumni around the globe. The Grand Reunion Alumni Dinner is the perfect occasion to celebrate, reconnect, and reflect on the experiences that unite our community.

This year’s dinner also celebrates the 175th anniversary of the Royal School of Mines, marking a historic milestone for the wider community.

We hope you can join for an evening of connection, celebration, and community.

More Information about the Grand Reunion Alumni Dinner

The evening will begin with a sparkling drinks reception, followed by a three-course dinner with wine in the magnificent Armourers’ Hall.

Alumni are warmly invited to bring a guest to share in the celebration. Please note that each guest will require their own ticket.

The Grand Reunion Alumni Dinner is a formal black tie event. Your ticket includes a drinks reception and a three-course dinner accompanied by wine.

Join us for a special Tea & Tour before the dinner

For those looking to extend the reunion experience, a special Tea & Tour at the Royal School of Mines will offer alumni a behind-the-scenes look at the Department, a glimpse at historic photo archives, and the chance to take a group photograph on the RSM steps.

Priority is given to the Class of 1976 in honour of their 50-year anniversary, but all alumni are welcome to join, subject to capacity.
